Despite looming clouds, Beaudesert’s dawn service and march were spared, with the rain holding off at just the right time.
Hundreds gathered along Brisbane Street to watch the parade, with veterans, serving personnel and community groups taking part, including the 11th Combat Service Support Battalion of the Australian Army.
Students from across the region were also present, with local schools laying wreaths as part of the service.
Services in Rathdowney and Kooralbyn also drew community members, reflecting a shared commitment across the region to honour those who have served.
