This month Rob Cus is recognised for his dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the exciting world of IGP dog sport.
Rob joined the Scenic Rim Sportsdog Club in 2024, making the transition from the world of conformation showing to IGP—a significant change that required learning an entirely new discipline. Together with his Rottweiler, Storm, Rob embraced the challenge and has worked tirelessly to develop their skills as a team.
Their hard work paid off in April this year when Rob and Storm achieved their first milestone, earning a BH Obedience Title.
They are now focused on the next step in their journey as they prepare to compete for their UPr1 title at the club’s September trial.
Adding to the excitement, Storm took a short break from training to become a first-time mum to Cora.
Now 12 months old, Cora has inherited her mother’s enthusiasm and is well into her own training.
Rob is currently preparing Cora for her BH title, with the young Rottweiler also expected to make her trial debut in September.
The upcoming trial promises to be a memorable occasion, with Rob handling both Storm and Cora on the same evening—a testament to the countless hours of training, patience, and dedication he has invested in both dogs.
