Even quiet old Helen Street at the back of Beauy is a hive of activity at the moment, as the town centre revitalisation project gets into full swing. We’ve been walking that old road for more than a decade, now, and I’ve never seen it quite so busy. Culverts upon culverts wait in the wings as workers dig out preparations for Selwyn Street to stretch all the way from the stately old homes up on Anna Street, past the big new servo on the main drag to the paddocks of Helen Street.
