Tom Plunkett has operated Paint Place for 15 years and has been in his new, purpose built location for a little over three years.
He is a fifth generation true blue Beaudesert resident with both sides of his family being in the area since the 1860s.
Paint Place offers a variety of paint colours and mixes, alongside Tom’s expertise to show customers the effort and dedication they deserve for a proper paint job.
“Sometimes people paint something really elaborate, but sometimes a good basic job is better than a fancy bad job,” he said.
“It’s nice to give people a few options because they might look at it and say, ‘that might just work’.”
Tom is great at colour selection and enjoys helping customers find exactly what they are looking for.
“Sometimes it’s just that creativity of doing things and then finding solutions – you’ve got to work with what you’ve got,” he said.
