Beaudesert and District Tennis Club’s members only Club Grade Tournament was a festival of local tennis.

All ages competed for the chance to have their names added to the Club Board with Adult Singles and Doubles and Junior events held over the weekend of 11 and 12 November.

For many of the Juniors (pictured) it was their first graded tournament and they were happy to step up into competitive but enjoyable games.

Players hit top of their game

Beaudesert tennis players had an outstanding weekend of tennis during their Grade Tournament.

Play was interrupted due to storms on Friday 10 November but games were rescheduled.

Strong graded games were held across all levels of play, with Nick Thorpe winning the Men’s Pennant Grade Singles and fifteen year old Logan Taylor the runner-up.

In the Women’s Reserve Grade Doubles Diane Ardrey and Trish Gleeson had a great game against Lauren Griffin and Sally-Ann Martin, with Diane and Trish taking the win.
