Riders from across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales gathered at Rathdowney Pony Club‘s grounds for the Stockman’s Challenge and Campdraft on 14 and 15 October.

The Stockman’s Challenge was a set course for riders from eight years of age to seniors to compete in the time trial with obstacles including opening and closing a stock gate, carrying a billy can from one barrel to another on horseback and picking up an oilskin coat and carrying it while cantering.

The course tested the horsemanship and skills of both the horses and riders, with a more challenging course set for riders aged 15 and over.
