Restocker Steers hit hot competition at Beaudesert

Agents Bartholomew & Co reported a dearer market for all descriptions at their Beaudesert Store Sale on Saturday.  

Soaking rain created fierce competition for lines of replacement steers, with results exceeding vendor expectations.

The Beaudesert Store Sale results were:

  • Sunkissed Quarter Horse Stud Warrill View sold Simmental crossed steers 14 months for $1,410.  
  • Charolais crossed steers 14 months account JD Grazing, Dugandan sold for $1,400.  
  • Leighton MacNellie, Greenbank sold Diary crossed steers 2 years for $1,380.  
  • Charbray crossed steers account Daniel Banks, Witheren sold for $1,370.  
  • Desmond Ruhland & Natalie Daley, Mt Alford sold Droughtmaster crossed steers 15 months for $1,350.  
  • John & Beverley Brehmer, Norwell sold Charbray steers 14 months for $1,300.  
  • Eurara Pty Ltd, Innisplain sold Charbray crossed weaner steers for $1,260.  
  • Santa crossed steers account Dean & Tanya Zurvas, Mt Alford sold for $1,150. 
  • Simmental crossed heifers account Sun Kissed Quarter Horse Stud sold for $1,100.  
  • Daniel Banks sold Charbray crossed heifers 12 months for $920.  

The next Beaudesert Store Sale will be held on Saturday, December 7, commencing at 9.30am.
