Here are a few locals on a mission, striding it out around Beauy for the recent Run Against Violence virtual challenge. You might have seen people out lately running (or in cases like me, walking) in their blue shirts. The goal is to clock up 1300km in 19 days to raise awareness of family violence and help remove the stigma and social barriers that often stop people from talking about their experiences with family violence and asking for help. I guess there are all kinds of ways to keep conversations going!
