WOMEN from Beaudesert and surrounds have raised more than $7,800 to help victims of domestic and family violence through the Scenic Rim Rural Women’s Celebration.

Nearly 100 women filled Kerry Memorial Hall on October 13 for the second annual event, led by Branded Design Studio’s Eden Platell from Beaudesert Zonta.

Through the generous donation of prizes and sponsorship from local supporters, Zonta was able to significantly increase its fundraising to $7800, up from $5300 at their 2023 event.

The event was also a collection point for dignity bags, to help women and children in their time of need.
