Chief Horse Steward, Leonie Walsh, said the additional show had been organised after horse events on the Saturday of Beaudesert Show were cancelled due to weather conditions.

“We wanted to make sure competitors could get the points they needed to qualify for the EKKA,” said Ms Walsh.

Twelve year old Ali Reinke from Beaudesert won the Supreme Champion Show Hunter on Mundoora Park Davito.

Ali will go on to compete at the National in December 2022.

Supreme Show Hack was awarded to Rhys Stanley on Obama.

Ms Walsh said the entries for the day were above what was expected and the feedback from all competitors was that they were very appreciative of the opportunity to compete again.
