Beaudesert Girl Guides will do their bit to give back to the community when they hold a Clean Up Australia Day event on 5 March.

The local Guides’ Clean Up Australia Day event will go from 10.30am to 12.30pm, meeting at Junior Chamber Park, 6 Brooklands Drive Beaudesert.

It will be the Beaudesert group’s fourth time taking part in Clean Up Australia Day since 2019.

Unit Leader Alison Groom said it was a worthwhile cause.

“We have a big focus on service in Guides, so taking part in Clean Up Australia Day helps build awareness of the environment and giving back to the community,” she said.
