Kara is an 11 month old Maltese-cross who is Audry Thomson’s canine companion.
Audry has had a hard few years, losing her son in a motorcycle accident two and a half years ago.
She said Kara was a gift from a friend who bred her. She was born in the car on the way to the vet – hence the name ‘Kara’.
The two are very close and Kara stays close to Audry constantly.
Audry enjoys crocheting blankets and small items and says Kara is a great source of comfort to her.
