BEAUDESERT’S University of the Third Age (U3A) group showcased the huge range of activities they have available when they held their Open Day at The Club.

From line dancing to lunching, aqua aerobics to art, French to floristry, this volunteer based group has a huge range of options for their members.

Many open days are just a sign on event, but this was hands-on for everyone who attended with performances by the Ukulele group (The Buffies), The Singing Owls and some very competitive card and mahjong games going.

U3A Beaudesert President said the Queensland conference will be held in Beaudesert from 28 to 30 May.

“We are very excited to host the conference.  Accommodation is a challenge and most accommodation in town had been booked,” said Brendan.

U3A members have been invited to host delegates while the conference is on.

U3A annual membership is $25 per person and most activities are $3 per session (some exceptions).
