Beaudesert and District Little Athletics did their community proud at the State Relay Championships.

Beaudesert sent 16 competitors to track and field events at the competition on 3 December at the State Athletics Facility, QSAC.

Team Manager Sharne Muller congratulated the athletes.

“I’m so proud of each and every one of our athletes. They all gave 110 per cent, arrived at their events on time, had so much fun with their partners and worked really well together as a team,” she said.

Hadley Dunn and Kayla Bright placed first in high jump, second in long jump, second in shot put and third in the 4x Swedish relay with Lachlan Platell and Maya Ryder.

Sam Dyba and Jacob Dunn competed in the under 9 boys discus.

Will Robinson and AJ Platell placed third in long jump and second in high jump.

Lachlan Platell, Hadley Dunn, Maya Ryder and Kayla Bright placed third in the 4 x Swedish relay.

Connor Rossow, Mia Eizenberg, Tayla Knickel and Tyler Dimmick placed ninth in the 4 x Swedish relay.

Zarayah Williams, Charlie Platell, Paige Eizenberg and Seth Muller placed eighth in the 4x 100m and eighth in the 4x medley.
