After two years of COVID causing major disruption, this year wet weather meant many games were postponed, but President Deb Love said they were just happy to be back playing.

“We successfully ran our Net, Set & Go programs sticking to our belief that Junior Netball should be all about participation, fun, fairness and equal opportunities for all players.  We also had a successful Cadet, Senior B & Senior A competition and although these games are friendly, we sure did see some healthy competition throughout the year,” said Deb.

“It was so great to see the teams come together in the Finals and also to watch some of our Junior umpires step up and officiate Final games.”

“There were a few surprise winners which made for exciting games to watch!”

The Junior Grand Final was a tight match between the Green and Black teams with Team Black taking out the win.

The Cadet Grand Final saw Seagulls have a strong win over Comets.

Senior B Grand Final was a hard fought game with Cyclones coming from third place overall to take the win over Bullets.

Senior A Grand Final was a nail biter and a fantastic game to watch.  After a tough game, Jetts took out the win over Blues.

During the off season the Association will concentrate on raising funds to replace three unusable courts and upgrade the toilet facilities at the courts.

“Over the past 12 months, I have had many conversations with Local, State and Federal representatives to try and gain their support and hopefully together we can achieve our goal so that Netball in Beaudesert not only survives but thrives.”
