Before there was Red Dog, there was … Red Dog.
Erica Bates’ 13 year old red kelpie was originally named JJ but over the years he has become known as Red Dog and more recently, Red.
“He comes to Jay, JJ, Red, Red Dog and Dog,” says Erica. “He was Red Dog before the movies.”
Red Dog is Erica’s constant companion and follows her everywhere.
He gets very excited when visitors come and loves to sit on their feet.
