The opening of Beaudesert Tennis Club’s new courts brought together old and new members to celebrate a huge milestone for the Club.
President Darren Thorpe thanked the committee members who had worked hard to see the project through to completion.
He also paid tribute to the sponsors and government officials who have contributed to the Club over the years, including Scenic Rim Discount Drug Stores, QM Properties, Jon Krause and Scott Buchholz and Scenic Rim Regional Council.
State Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause, officially opened the new courts where an exhibition match was played by the Club’s past and present Presidents – Darren Thorpe, Rod Walker, Lisa Quast and Damien Moxie.
