Lifelong learning was the theme of the U3A State Conference which opened in Beaudesert yesterday.
Held from 28 to 30 May at The Centre, Beaudesert, the conference attracted attendees from 25 U3A groups across Queensland.
The conference was opened by State Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause MP, with Keynote Speaker Rhonda Weston AM presenting on the first morning of the conference.
Attendees also enjoyed John Britten’s presentation about ‘Music, Wellbeing, Ukulele and U3A’, followed by a performance by Beaudesert U3A’s Ukulele Group, The BUFFies.
