LOCAL teenagers will get support to get through their studies after The Club donated $5000 to Beaudesert State High School.

The Club CEO Sharon Cullen and President Glen Sainty presented the donation to school Principal Damien Burke on January 31.

The school expressed its thanks for The Club’s generous support which will go towards assisting as many students as possible who might not have the means to accomplish their schooling.

The funds are expected to contribute to the positive well-being of students inside and outside the classroom through measures like travel or food vouchers for students in need.

Ms Cullen said The Club was proud to offer its support.

“We like to support anyone who needs help and there are obviously kids out there who need the help because their parents can’t afford a lot of things, so we thought it’d be a good idea to try and help them further their education,” she said.

“We’re a community club so we’re all about helping the community through our community grant fund.”
