Players aged from 10 to 80 years of age joined in the fun at the Beaudesert Pickleball Come and Try Day at Woodhill Primary School.

Over 25 members and invited guests, including Member for Scenic Rim Jon Krause, Scenic Rim Councillors Michael Enright and Jeff McConnell and Logan City Councillor Scott Bannan received tips on the day from expert players.

National Champions Sueme Rajapl and Deborah Rossi from Brisbane Pickleball Club were happy to share their knowledge with new players, along with Mark Jagger, Glenis Ault and Sally Buckley from Queensland Pickleball.

Beaudesert Pickleball member Leanne Deerain said the Club has grown  quickly since it started in April this year.

“We have grown to approximately 70 members of all ages,” said Leanne.

Leanne said the Club is grateful for the support of Total First Home Solutions who provided $1,000 sponsorship.

Pickleball is played at Beaudesert State High School on Tuesday nights from 5.30pm to 8pm and Saturday mornings at Woodhill Primary School from 8am to 10.30am.  For more information email beaudesertpickleball@gmail.com.
