Ralph the Labrador has been the mascot of Beaudesert News in Brisbane street for about 10 years. He is also a fundraiser for Guide Dogs Queensland. Bob Christensen and Susan Weymouth enjoy adorning Ralph with whatever suits the season. During COVID, in line with restrictions, Ralph was outside the newsagency wearing his mask and Bob said they often had people stop and take a photo.
This winter and with State of Origin underway, Ralph can be seen dressed in a blue beanie (Susan is from New South Wales) and a maroon scarf (Bob is a Queenslander).
