Christine Grimmett and her husband Dave hadn’t intended to get another dog after the loss of their blue cattle dog, but Spoodle puppy Poppy has fitted into their lives perfectly.
“We had to look after a poodle for my cousin in Sydney and we became so attached it was traumatic when we had to send her away,” said Christine.
Poppy was bred by a local breeder who Christine visited when Poppy’s mother had pups.
“She’s been a joy. We’ve only had her for a couple of weeks and it feels like forever. She loves being at home and the farm, she loves coming to work with me. She’s been everywhere with me.”
