After being rained out late in Term One, McAuley College students finally got the chance to participate and show off their house spirit at the school’s Interhouse Cross Country Carnival.
McAuley College Sports Coordinator Mr Stephen Woodley said it was a very successful event.
“A great day was had by all, with many students not only giving their all, but achieving personal bests with records being broken.”
Students waiting to participate sat on the side lines, cheering on their peers and dancing to the music.
In the end, green house Mackillop took home the trophy, finally putting an end to their seven year streak of no wins.
It is an underestimation to say that house captains Emmy Heit and Fionnan Nally were ecstatic.
