KindyLinQ children and their parents joined Wongaburra residents for a special morning tea. Cathy Meehan from Beaudesert State School read books and sang songs with the children and residents joining in. The morning finished with a rousing rendition of the ‘Hokey Pokey’.
The free KindyLinQ program has been running for four years for pre-kindergarten children and their parents, but it was the first time they have been to Wongaburra. Wongaburra Holistic Care Coordinator, Honnay Spencer said the residents always enjoy activities with children.
