The Brisbane Broncos visited the Kingfisher club football fields to hold a Buck to Bronco clinic on Wednesday April 10.
Both trainers and players were present on the day, providing the opportunity for those attending to train alongside their heroes and further develop their football skills.
Kids were grouped into age classes and participated in round-robin training sessions, each with a different trainer and objective.
Zane and Kye Bowen, along with Nate and Tristan Askew, were very excited for the opportunity to practise passing and kicking.
“It’ll be cool to train with the Broncos players,” they all agree.
Mother Jasmine Bowen is grateful for the locality of the clinic.
“We are really excited that this opportunity is out here, in the suburbs,” she says.
After the hour of training, flyers were handed out to the kids and Bronco players Cody Black, Israel Leota and Josiah Karapani signed each one.
