BEAUDESERT Kingfishers had a huge weekend at the beginning of the school holidays with teams giving their all in every game, despite some teams having key players away.

A very tough, gritty game really tested the U11s against Mudgeeraba, going down for only the second time this season. A number of the players stepped up and played hard to fill in gaps left by absent players.

The Under 14s had a crushing victory, winning against Currumbin score 52 – 0 to the Kingies.

The team has had a lot of improvement this  season under the guidance of Coach Geoff Burr.

Man of the match went to Connor Ball.

The Under 18s had several key players absent for their game against Burleigh but maintained a strong defence. The 28 – 10 score to Burleigh does not really reflect the heart that the Beaudesert team showed in play on the day.

The Senior Men’s team won against Tamborine 22-6.
