For a small town, Beaudesert has a huge range of dining options on out doorstep.
From fast food to lovingly prepared home made treats and food from around the globe, we are really spoilt for choice when it comes to eating in – or out!
Eat Local Week is an event that showcases many of the local producers in the area, but several of our cafes and restaurants also pride themselves on using local produce and supporting other local businesses.
Shinade Harper of Teaspoons and Aprons is committed to sourcing local ingredients where possible as well as using other local businesses to incorporate their products into her menus.
Based in Beaduesert Fair shopping centre, Teaspoons and Aprons use the butcher and bakery in the centre to create the freshest meals and snacks for customers.
They also use local produce from farmers including Tommerups Dairy Farm, Christmas Creek Garlic and Bee-Long herbs from Biddaddaba.
The welcoming space Shinade and her staff have created means their customers are often known by name and they have formed strong relationships with many of their regular customers.
“We help them with their shopping if they need it or if they don’t turn up at their usual time we will check on them to make sure they are ok,” said Shinade.
“Caring for our customers is part of what we do. I want this cafe to have a positive impact on people’s lives.”
Teaspoons and Aprons have also created delicious grazing boxes, tailored to your needs and filled with sweet or savoury goodness!
The grazing boxes should be pre-ordered and are perfect for catering for picnics, family events and relaxed corporate events.
On-site catering is also available.
Shinade will come to your location with a chef and server and cater for your function or event. Menus can be tailored to suit your needs to create a great event for your business, charity event or family gathering.
