Elopement alternative to traditional wedding

Scenic Rim Elope is a newly launched boutique wedding planning business specialising in creating all-inclusive elopement packages.

“Elopement packages redefine the way couples say ‘I do’ by providing simple, beautiful and affordable experiences in some of the Scenic Rim’s most picturesque locations,” says founder and wedding planner Amanda Lutvey.

“An elopement provides an affordable alternative to a big, costly wedding,” she says.

According to figures from ASIC’s Moneysmart website and online marketplace Oneflare, average Australian wedding costs can range from $36,000 to $51,000.

Elopements have been growing in popularity as couples seek more personalised and intimate celebrations which won’t send them into debt.

“Scenic Rim Elope recognises this trend and offers a fresh approach to the traditional wedding ceremony with elopement packages starting from $2800 to $5900, with prices varying based on the venue chosen” says Amanda.

Packages are available Monday to Thursday in order to take advantage of the non-peak wedding days.

The starter elopement package price includes venue, celebrant, and photography, with options to add extra features to create a truly bespoke experience.

Scenic Rim Elope’s wedding planner works with couples to personalise their experience.

“Whether you envision exchanging vows on top of a mountain, on a rustic country farm, or in the heart of a village, Scenic Rim Elope can make it happen,” said Amanda.

“The Scenic Rim Elope team lives in the area. They have taken their local knowledge and located some of the most breathtaking elopement locations – from Beechmont to Tamborine Mountain, from Canungra to Boonah, and west to Aratula and Tarome near the Great Dividing Range.

Bookings are now being accepted for elopements and micro weddings suitable for two to 24 people.

Couples can visit the Scenic Rim Elope website (scenicrimelope.com) to explore packages and book an obligation-free chat.
