This is our last edition for 2023 – we will miss one edition over Christmas / New Year and be back again on 12 January.

As often happens at the end of the year, it seems time for a bit of reflection on the year that was.

It has been busy, exceptionally so for me and I’m very grateful to the wonderful team we have for stepping up whenever it is needed.

Everyone involved with our papers, both the Beaudesert Bulletin and Canungra Times, have a sense of community and love what they do.

I think this is a rare thing in business and we are very fortunate to have such a great team.

From our hardworking deliverers who never fail to get the job done on time, through to Kate, Susie and myself who own the business and are fully invested in what we do, everyone who works with us has a connection and a love for what we do.

I have to thank Kate, Janice, Katie, Emily and Rob for really stepping up over the last six months to fill in some gaps while Susie has been on maternity leave.

They have all done an amazing job and I feel very fortunate to work with people who are good at what they do and also very kind.

The wonderful addition of Susie’s baby Rosie has been a great journey for all of us (especially Susie and Zac).

Rosie is generously going to share her mum with us next year and I’m looking forward to her returning to work with us again – yes Rosie might accompany Susie to some events and stories – all part of being a flexible workplace.

Thank you also to our loyal advertisers and printing clients.  We are so fortunate to be well supported by local businesses and I urge you to support them where you can.

To all our readers, we wish you a Merry Christmas.  We will have a short (one edition) break and be back with the next edition on 12 January 2024.

See you in the new year!
