Town Centre Revitalisation
As work continues apace on the revitalisation of the Beaudesert Town Centre, I urge you to continue to support local businesses that may have been affected by the changed traffic arrangements currently in place.
The works will continue for at least another couple of months so please continue to shop locally and support businesses that are at the heart of our community.

Community Hall Roadshows
Following the positive response to Council’s Community Hall Roadshows, additional roadshows are being scheduled and the closing date for submissions extended until November 30, 2024.
Council recognises the importance of community halls in bringing people together and creating a sense of belonging and is seeking feedback from residents across the Scenic Rim so that our halls can continue to be vibrant and active spaces that are welcoming and inclusive.
Please take five minutes to complete the survey on Council’s online community engagement platform letstalkscenicrim.qld.gov.au and share your views on the types of activities and events you would like to see at community halls.

Rowing Championships
Along With Cr Amanada Hay and Mayor Tom Sharp, it was a pleasure to attend the Rowing Queensland State School Championships at Wyaralong Dam and present medallions to winning crews.
There is a lot of work to be done to prepare the site for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics but it was certainly exciting watching the races and imagining it as an Olympic venue in just eight years’ time!
