Father and son Luke and Jason Kuhz took out the 2024 Cloonan Jug at Beaudesert Golf Club, which is now in its 60th year.

Played over 36 holes, under modified matchplay conditions with an under 3/4 handicap, Beaudesert Golf Pro Lachlan Ritson said the game was played competitively but in good spirits.

The competition was again closely contested, with Luke and Jason pulling ahead of runners up Sean Mason and Patrick Kline on the 35th hole.

Cloonan family members Kate and Tim Cloonan and Jenny Ward presented Luke and Jason with their trophy.

Luke thanked the Club, saying last year they got to the wrong end of the final but he and Jason were very happy with their result this year.

First prize in the Cloonan Jug calcutta was over $6,000.
