A three day Championship dog show held by Beaudesert Kennel Club saw hundreds of pampered pooches descend onto Beaudesert Showground over the October long weekend.
International judges were brought in from Denmark, Finland, Thailand and Malaysia to judge dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Great Danes to Shetland Sheep Dogs.
Competitors came from across Queensland and New South Wales, with Beaudesert woman Jenny Hampton showing Keeshond, Odin.
She was happy with the eleven month old’s results against other dogs.
Odin claimed a Reserve Challenge Dog, Runner Up Best of Breed and a Junior CACIB.
“I can’t believe how convenient it is, we had one at Durack last weekend and it was a bit of a drive.”
“But they didn’t have the CACIBs last weekend, they had A20 which is another International award.”
She said Odin enjoys coming to the shows.
“He just loves being with us.”
