Courtney Teese is the 2022 Beaudesert Showgirl, Jessica Jurd is 2022 Rural Ambassador, Brianna Turner is Junior Show Ambassador and Isabella Hardy is Runner-up Junior Show Ambassador.

Beaudesert Show Society named its 2022 Show Ambassadors at the 2022 Ambassador Announcement Evening at Beaudesert Golf Club on 30 July.

The Beaudesert Show Society’s ambassador competition aims to recognise and promote the next generation’s key role in the rural workforce and their contributions in sustaining rural and regional communities.

More than 65 people attended the event and local band the Undecideds played.

Showgirl committee member Rhiannon Taylor said it was an important night on the Show Society calendar and thanked Silver Show Sponsor, Franklin Constructions, for sponsoring the Show Ambassador competitions and dinner.

She said there was a high calibre of entrants in this year’s competition and encouraged the community to get behind the ambassador and showgirl movement.

“If you see the Beaudesert Show 2022 Ambassadors and Showgirl out and about at local events, come up and say hi,” she said.

“And don’t forget to follow their progress on Instagram @beauyshowambassadors.”

Entrants were Jessica Jurd (2022 Rural Ambassador), Courtney Teese (2022 Showgirl) and Elizabeth Scott, Isabelle Hardy, Layne Addy and Brianna Turner (2022 Junior Ambassador).

The winners, runner-up and entrants in each category will be out and about at community events across the Scenic Rim in the lead up to the show, as well as taking part in the Beaudesert Show on 2 – 3 September.
