Beaudesert Bowls Club ladies have won the coveted 2024 Pennant Award against clubs from across the Gold Coast.
Playing bowls at their home club and on the Gold Coast, each club competed with three teams of four players.
The Beaudesert ladies finished victorious after playing the runner up team from Tugun Bowls Club at Southport Bowls on Friday August 16, 2024.
On the day the team of twelve Beaudesert ladies were fortunate to achieve success in winning the 2024 Pennant Shield for the Ladies’ division and will be presented with Pennant pins.
The last time Beaudesert ladies won the Ladies’ Pennant Award was in 2019, making this win a memorable achievement.
The winning team included Pat Stuhmcke, Alexis Ramsay, Faye Hines, Anne Greentree, Robyn Berg, Carmel Timms, Merryl Kerrs, Nancy Parker, Robyn Schneider, Anne Andrews, Gaye Blank, Trish Allen and Sue Crumblin (Team Manager).
Beaudesert Bowls Club meets weekly and has various bowls events including Barefoot Bowls, Jackpot Pairs, Mercantile and Premier 7s.
