It has been a huge year for Beaudesert & District Tennis Association, with the completion of a major project and a return to regular tournaments.

At the Club’s end of season presentation night, President Darren Thorpe said the Club resurfaced two courts in 2022. Members were given the opportunity to play on those courts for the first time.
“This gives the club six courts and we can look forward to more night fixtures and tournaments next season,” he said.
He thanked major sponsors Scenic Rim Discount Drug Store, coach Tim Fitzgerald and his committee for their support.
“Tennis runs all year – from late January to December which is a big time commitment for everyone and seeing the juniors coming through is very rewarding.”
Beaudesert & District Tennis Association juniors receive participation certificates.
Three special junior awards were presented:
• Sean Frieberg Perpetual Trophy for Junior Sportsmanship – Maysa Croton.
• Scenic Rim Discount Drug Store Most Improved Junior – Typhoon le Garde .
• Kent Taylor Memorial Trophy for Junior Player of the Year – Hayden Griffin.
