ST MARY’S Catholic Primary School was filled with laughter, curiosity and creativity during its annual Under 8s Day celebration.
The much-anticipated event brought together students and families to celebrate early learning through hands-on, play-based activities.
Children immersed themselves in science-themed experiences – from shrinking artwork and shaping playdough to dressing up as scientists and making their own biscuits.
Local police joined the fun, along with the fire brigade, who made a dramatic entrance after attending a real fire earlier that morning.
Each student received a special ‘passport’ that was stamped as they completed each scientific activity, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day of discovery.
