Beaudesert celebrates Small Business Month with local workshops

Throughout May, Scenic Rim Regional Council will be running events across the region to celebrate our diverse small businesses and connect them to support, grants and partnerships that will help them thrive.

Listed below will be events held in our Beaudesert community:

  • Small Business Breakfast held at The Centre, Beaudesert on May 1. Fuel your morning with business-centred conversations and networking opportunities over a delicious breakfast [SOLD OUT]
  • DESBT Small Business Hub held at Beaudesert Library on May 9. Complete an 8-point questionnaire about your small business to join the hub.
  • Grant Writing with Dr. Pamela Greet held at The Centre, Beaudesert on May 14. This workshop is designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools needed to secure funding for your business.
  • Destination Scenic Rim Event held at Towri Sheep Cheeses, Allenview on May 15. This will be a great session for all those planning on expanding your business or embarking on a new venture.
  • Business Continuity Workshop held at The Centre, Beaudesert on May 15. This workshop is for any community service organisation, business or sole trader to assist with identifying risks and planning to minimise disruption to services when disasters strike.
  • Beaudesert Chamber of Commerce Event held at Beaudesert Golf Club on May 22. Celebrate Small Business Month with guest speaker Dominique Lamb, Queensland Small Business Commissioner and a delicious sit-down lunch.
  • Waste Management Workshop held at Beaudesert Community Arts & Information Centreon May 27. This workshop offers invaluable insights and networking opportunities to shape a more sustainable future.
  • Business Networking BBQ held at Beaudesert Golf Club on May 29. Join in for an afternoon of networking with fellow professionals and business owners in celebrating the success of yet another Small Business Month and the importance small businesses have on the regional community.
