People and their Pets – Spryte and Alexandria

Alexandria and Spryte.
Alexandria and Spryte.

Spryte the feisty Tenterfield Terrier is precious to Beaudesert’s Alexandria Bailey.

The scrappy little street dog leapt into the dog trainer’s life in early 2017 when she agreed to foster him for a month in Yeppoon, and he’s been with her ever since.

Now Spryte is her assistance dog, an agility champion and he is fast developing a profile of his own, featuring in a movie coming out later this year and winning hearts through recent radio and television stories.

Here’s what Alexandria has to say about Spryte:

“He’s feisty and loving and he makes the most adorable noises when he’s cuddling up. He’s intensely focused when he’s working,” she said.

“It’s a street dog to champion story, and any dog can reach their fullest potential – it’s just a matter of giving them that support, guidance, care, love and training.”

People and their Pets is about celebrating the animal friends in our lives, whether they’re furry, feathered, reptilian, hoofed or pawed.
