Thing One and Thing Two, Batgirl and The Rainbow Fish, Harry Potter and Captain America, Bluey and The Little Mermaid were among characters to show up at Gleneagle State School book week.

The school community reported a fun book week with plenty of enthusiasm from staff and students alike.

Staff and P and C volunteers ran a book fair by Scholastic and Paula Leigh from the Beaudesert Library came and ran fun library activity session for all classes, including Dewey Decimal Bingo.

Students participated in lunchtime craft every day and teachers included book week content in the classroom.

The school topped their week of activities off with their Book Week Parade and dress up day, at which staff made a significant effort to participate and Principal Jennifer Fenwick led the charge dressed as Batgirl.
