Ladybrook Farm is open as part of the Farm Gate Trail on 13 March.

The Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail will be held on Sunday, 13 March after it was postponed due to major flooding.

The event was to be held on 6 March, however organisers Destination Scenic Rim decided to push it back one week later so local farms would have a chance to dry out and clean up.

Major flooding in the Logan and Albert catchments impacted several participating farms near Beaudesert, however local producers were eager to clean up the mud and welcome visitors back as soon as possible.

Half a dozen farms on the outskirts of Beaudesert are among 22 local producers who will participate in the industry-led Destination Scenic Rim event.

  • Beaudesert and surrounds farms opening for Farm Gate Trail are:
  • Running Creek Beef. 1464 Running Creek Rd, Running Creek.
  • Oaky Creek Farm and Harvest Cafe. 208 Oaky Creek Road, Oaky Creek.
  • The Overflow Estate 1895. 1660 Beaudesert Boonah Road, Wyaralong.
  • Towri Sheep Cheeses. 206 Saville Road, Allenview.
  • White’s Farm. 2028 Kerry Road, Kerry.
  • Tommerup’s Dairy Farm. 2142 Kerry Rd, Kerry.
  • Ladybrook Farm (dog friendly). 2763 Kerry Road, Darlington.

Farm Gate Trail has continued to grow in popularity since it was first held in 2020, now attracting more than 5000 visitors to the region.

The 13 March event will go from 9am to 3pm.
