Daisy the White Swiss Shepherd has been part of Peter and Amelia Smith’s household since she was an eight-week-old pup.
The loveable dog, who turned two in February, loves long walks and playing fetch.
Here’s what Amelia has to say about Daisy: “I’ve never seen a dog give so much eye contact – always looking and listening,” she said.
“She understands so many words – I say, ‘is Pete coming home?’ and she runs to the front corner, sits and looks down the hill and waits for him to come on the pushbike. We walk an hour nearly every morning and then she’ll run up and down the driveway with the ball.”
