Local ladies Judith Murphy, Ellen Logan, Vivien Ouwerkerk, Judy Balmer, Glenis Dredge and Chris Grimmett were spotted frocked up and celebrating in the street recently.
The occasion was the 2022 Melbourne Cup, outside Chris’s shop in the main street of Beaudesert.
They set up their camping chairs and snack tables, complete with tablecloths, beside Chris’s van about an hour before the race and were still enjoying dessert and a few laughs an hour after the race had finished.
