The Boonah Show returns for 2024 on 31st May and 1st June. This year’s show acknowledges the generational progression of the event, with the theme ‘So Much More in 2024’ set to highlight the hard work of the founding members and the future of the coming generations.

An exciting new addition to the show will be an interactive Grand Parade following the official opening at 12:30pm in the main arena. Planning to feature the younger generations and their futures, local schools, sporting, and community groups are encouraged to participate in the parade.

The fan favourite Mullet Competition returns being sponsored by The Fassifern Bombers Junior Rugby League Football Club. There will be categories for all ages, male and female, including Mini Mullet 0-6 years, Master of Mullets 7-11 years, Maddest Mullet 12-17 years and Old Man Mullet for over 18 years.

New attractions this year include an animal nursery and petting zoo, giving the whole family a chance to pet and cuddle baby lambs, goats, ducks, guinea pigs and many more furry friends. Pet owners are welcome to enter their animals in the Pet Parade, with categories for Smallest Pet, Best Dressed Pet, Smallest Pets and Noisiest Pets.

This year’s Lego show will exhibit historical Lego sets, including some of the original wooden Lego toys from the early 1900s. There will be a Lego building competition for enthusiasts and those just wanting to join in the fun.

The 2024 schedule is now live and accessible through the official website https://boonahshowsociety.org.au and Facebook page. For anyone wanting to be a part of the parade, please email show@boonahshowsociety.org.au.
