BEAUDESERT Primary School marked Under Eights Week on May 16 with a morning of colour, laughter, and learning, joining schools across Queensland in celebrating the importance of early childhood development.
Students enjoyed a range of hands-on activities, including bubble play, the ever-popular playground parachute, and colouring in their own paper plate maracas.
Held from May 19–23 this year, Under Eights Week is a Queensland tradition that highlights the significance of a child’s first eight years of life.
The 2025 theme, “Unleashing Scientific Thinking Through Play,” inspired activities that foster curiosity, inquiry, and early problem-solving skills
