Beaudesert U3A turned the local golf club red, white and green for their Christmas in July celebrations on 29 July.
A fun-loving group of 100 members and guests including State MP Jon Krause turned out for the party at Beaudesert Golf Club.
There were two lucky door prizes, comprising tickets for a daytime and nighttime show at The Centre donated by Scenic Rim Regional Council, and 10 raffle prizes including a $40 Wednesday steak night for two donated by the golf club.
President Brendan Dever and Sarah Grodecki from the U3A ukulele group provided entertainment on the day as well as Marg Arnold and her team of line dancers and A Choired Taste members, who led U3A members in the singing of Christmas carols.
