Over 150 show cars will be on display at this year’s Tamborine Mountain Car and Bike Show.

Run by Rotary and the Men’s Shed, the Show is shaping up to be one of the most popular automobile attractions in South-East Queensland.

Held at Tamborine Mountain Sports Centre on Long Road on August 4, the event will have several distinct categories on display: Antique, Vintage, Classic, Custom and Muscle Cars, Electric Cars as well as Bikes.

There will be market stalls and food and beverage vans, making it a perfect family day out.

Great prizes

Thanks to the support of local sponsors, there is a substantial price pool of $2,500 for show vehicles along with trophies for the following categories: People’s choice and runner up, Antique/Vintage/Classic, Custom/Muscle/Hot rod and Bikes.

The People’s Choice voting allows attendees to participate with a chance to win prices by voting for their favourite vehicle.

Last but not least there will be a raffle with highly priced gifts to the value of $2,600.

Entering vehicles

Be sure to register your show vehicle early to secure your spot in this highly anticipated event.

The grounds at the Sports Centre have an asphalt hardstand for most of the Show vehicles and will open at 6.45am for show cars and bikes.

Public access starts from 8am.

The car show will wrap up after the award presentations at 12.30pm.
