It was a big turnout for the Tamborine Mountain Emergency Services Open Day.
One of the most popular displays was Tamborine Mountain Fire and Rescue’s demonstration of how they perform a rescue after a traffic crash.
Visitors were also given the opportunity to learn how to prepare their properties for the fire season and make an escape plan, while the kitchen fire demonstration was spectacular.
Children were also able to explore inside a fire truck as well as an ambulance.
