GARDEN lovers from the Scenic Rim looking for the latest growing and landscaping tips should lock in for a trip up the highway to Nambour in early July.
The Queensland Garden Expo, one of the biggest exhibitions of its type, is set down for July 4-7 and more than 40,000 people are expected through the gates..
The event has now been going for 39 years and in all more than 360 exhibitors will be on hand to showcase their products.
The event will include landscape displays, celebrity speakers and entertainers.
The Expo is recognised as the number one gardening event in Queensland and showcases all aspects of the horticultural industry.
It offers the largest speaker program of any gardening event in the country.
Visitors will have the choice of listening in at six live stages as 40 gardening experts deliver more than 120 presentations.
They include ABC celebrities Jerry Coleby-Williams and Costa Georgiadis.
