There was a festival atmosphere at Long Road Sports Grounds as 300 netball players from Boonah (Fassifern), Beechmont and Beaudesert joined Tamborine Mountain for the Scenic Rim Challenge Carnival.
Beechmont was the carnival winner, taking home the honour for the first time by winning 69.4 per cent of their games.
Results
7-8 years: Winner Beaudesert 1, runner up Beechmont 1.
9-10 years: Winner Beaudesert 2, runner up Beechmont 2.
11 -12 years: Winner – Tamborine Mountain 6, runner up Fassifern 4.
13- 14 years: Winner Tamborine Mountain 8, runner up Fassifern 5.
15-17 years: Winner Fassifern 6, runner up Tamborine Mountain 10.
Open: Winner Beaudesert 10, runner up Beaudesert 9.
