Beaudesert born MasterChef 2023 winner Brent Draper has partnered with Moremac Property Group to officially launch its Beaumoor residential development to the local community.
Locals are invited to drop by the Beaumoor Sales Suite between 11am and 4pm on June 29 for a free scoop of the limited run of ice-cream with Draper making a special appearance between 1pm to 3pm.
Their collaboration will see Draper present homemade ice-cream flavours utilising ingredients exclusively from Beaudesert and the Scenic Rim region.
Local ingredients have been sourced from the Finger Lime Caviar, Those Little Voices, Bee All Natural Honey and Granny Macs with the flavours on offer including Key Lime Caviar Pie with a Short Crust Crumble, Mocha, Burnt Honey and Pistachio and Chocolate Chunk Choc Fudge.
Producers Tamborine Mountain Gelato Co. will create the unique flavours in collaboration with Draper.
Draper, affectionately known as ‘Drapes,’ has solidified his place as a beloved TV personality and culinary maestro, emerging victorious in MasterChef Australia Season 15 in 2023.
Draper said he’s looking forward to showcasing some of the local tastes of his former hometown through the partnership with Beaumoor.
“I believe showcasing the exceptional local producers in the Scenic Rim through a beloved treat like ice cream is a fantastic way to introduce Beaumoor to the community,” said Mr Draper.
“The area boasts amazing produce, and it’s thrilling to present that in a way people can enjoy.”
“I’m eager to return to Beauy, to reconnect with everyone, and share some free scoops this weekend,” he added.
Moremac Marketing Director Lachlan Moore said the official launch is to introduce Beaumoor to Beaudesert with the partnership offering locals a peek into the project as it progresses.
“There’s so much to Beaudesert and the Scenic Rim we really want to highlight with Beaumoor and the local produce offering is a big part of that,” said Mr Moore.
“This partnership with Brent will be our first official introduction to town and we’d encourage locals to come down and visit us to ask any questions on the development, but also learn about how we plan to engage with Beaudesert as we grow.”
